75", 289.8 grams, black rubber sealed case, with "If Found Return to ComNavAirLant (CNAL 34) Norfolk, Virginia molded in raised letters on each side. Escape and evasion kits of this type were typically issued to military pilots to be used for barter in the event they were shot down behind enemy lines.

This particular kit is designated the "Atlantic Kit". Of Defense property disposal office.

Brochure indicates that the case consists of: one 20 Franc gold coin, one 10 Franc gold coin, one 1 pound Sovereign gold coin (British of South African mintage), two ½ pound Sovereign gold coins (British or South African mintage), and three gold rings either plain or embossed.
