Random Year $5 Liberty Half Eagle Circulation Gold Coin
4+ tube of Silver Coins. This coin is the only coin of a single design to be minted at a total of seven of Americas most renowned mints. The reverse feature depicts a heraldic eagle with open wings, perched atop a branch and clutching a shield bearing the American stripes. Also on the reverse, the United States legend, as well as the coins denominational value. The obverse features Christian Gobrechts Coronet Head, which is a lovely rendering of the Lady Liberty, with the word, Liberty inscribed on her head band. Also on the reverse, encircling Lady Liberty, are 13 stars, along with the coins year of issue at the bottom. The Liberty Half Eagle has undergone a string of subtle changes over the years, with the most notable change being the swap from Lady Liberty to a famed native American chieftain, on the obverse, in 1908.
