Presidential Dollars Collection - 2007 - 2016. For sale is a complete set of Presidential Dollars Annual Collection Packs. Each annual collection features 4 presidents from Washington to Reagan (40). Each President in each annual pack has 2 coins - (P-D) for a total of 8 per pack. Each coin is encased in plastic on each card. The program began on January 1, 2007, and was not scheduled to end until every eligible subject was honored. The program was to issue coins featuring each of four presidents per year on the obverse, issuing one for three months before moving on to the next president in chronological order by term in office. To be eligible, a President must have been deceased for at least two years prior to the time of minting. Because of this limitation, Jimmy E Carter's coins in this collection are Commemoratives and somewhat larger (30mm) than regular Presidential Dollars - added for continuity of the series - and makes Carter the only living President in this collection.
