Disney Rarities Mint 1/10 oz 999 Gold SNOW WHITE from 50th Anniv. OBVERSE In 1987, Disney contracted with Rarities Mint in Anaheim, CA to produce 11 characters who originally premiered in the 1937 classic animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

These medallion like coins were minted in various sizes and weights of both. The serial numbers were imprinted on the edges of most coins and were made to match the serial number on the Certificates of Authenticity. However, due to the small size & narrowness of these 1/10 oz. Coins, the thinness made it impossible to stamp the serial number on the edge. Therefore, the serial number & other specifications were printed only on f the Certificate of Authenticity.

These coin medallions were originally sealed into the Certificate of Authenticity with simple plastic holding them in, similar to a blister package. However, Rarities Mint also produced these air tight capsules so that they would not only be air tight but would also fit into the holes of their presentation display case.
