This bank is in very nice condition, has a shine to the nickel plated finish, some spots have plating dulling. Some small corrosion spots, no dents or dings. It takes a 1/4 turn CW to open works very smooth, 1 working key included. 1 scratch between the 2 dime slots. Black Paint on nameplate is clear, shows crisp lettering detail. Non magnetic case, I believe brass. See detailed pictures for your review. Actual item shown in pictures. 100 + years old or so. The City National Bank Of Lincoln. However, some types and denominations of currency from this bank could still be rare. That is a fairly normal lifespan for a national bank. During its life, The City National Bank Of Lincoln issued 6 different types and denominations of national currency. For the record, The City National Bank Of Lincoln was located in Lancaster County. It was assigned charter number 5213. See zoom pictures for complete details.
