This limited edition set is one of just 100 sets available worldwide. The condition of the coins is new old stock, they have only every had the cases removed for me to take these pictures, the box has some slight patina marks and a small crack at the back, the certificate has a fold line down the middle, the important thing is the coins are 100% perfect proofs. The coins are all solid 22ct gold and the published weight is 14 grams, 22ct gold on the fineness scale is classed as 0.9167, 24ct gold is considered 1.00 pure. During the royal commonwealth tour of 1952 in Nairobi, Kenya - Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary and her husband Prince Phillip were staying at the famous African Treetops resort.

The royal couple climbed up a tree to where they would stay for the evening, unaware of what the following day would bring.
