The Sacagawea dollar is a golden-colored coin that was introduced by the United States Mint in 2000. It features an image of Sacagawea, a Shoshone woman who is famous for her role as a guide and interpreter for the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The reverse side of the coin originally depicted a soaring eagle.
A complete set of Sacagawea dollars would typically include the following. 2000 - First year of issue. Collectors often seek to complete their sets by acquiring coins in varying conditions (such as uncirculated or proof) and paying attention to particular mint marks and special editions. Outer Box does have some discoloration. While we try to make sure that inventory levels are accurate and merchandise is available at time of sale, all merchandise subject to prior sale.
