1972 Munich Olympics Commemorative 3/4 Gold Coin Medal Medallion Pendant

1972 Munich Olympics mounted gold commemorative medallion. Weighs less than 1 ounce. My grandmother attended the olympics/was in Germany at this time and brought this back for me. She always said it was gold. It has been worn a lot and shows no wear as a gold plated item would. It is not marked, and I did not remove it from its holder.
