Each of the watches is a coin back, and each coin has a different image representing different eras within the Pahlavi Dynasty. The coin back on this particular piece features the bust of Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. Originally a pocket watch, it was converted to a drivers style wristwatch at some point in its life.
