The reverse features a heraldic bald eagle design, with its wings wide holding arrows and an olive branch with its talons.It shows "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "DOUBLE EAGLE" - in smaller font, the date "2009" and Longacre's name. This was originally designed by then chief engraver, James B.
